    P Pants

I went for my annual physical this morning.

I spilled my urine sample on my pants.

I wish I was making that up.

    Thank Jeebus for Oprah

Ever since Oprah made it cool to be grateful (tongue firmly in cheek here, folks), I've made it practice to run thru things I'm thankful for on a regular basis. Since it's Thanksgiving, howsabout a quick rundown of the list? In no particular order:
    • Family, of course. For my Grandma, who is more fun in her 70s than a lot of people are in their 20s. For both of my parents, and my step-mom, all of them cool folks. For my Seester, who seems to get funnier by the minute and who kicks my ass and tells me to get the fark over it when need be.
    • For my Anti P, who is beyond awesome, and totally brave and wise, and who never, EVER judges me. Do you know how amazing that is? Endlessly supportive and cool. Best.Ant.Ever.
    • For Chantalle, who is the best female friend I've had in years or maybe ever. I have a lot to learn from you, dude.
    • For sweet potatoes, because I yam in lurve wit u.
    • For letting go, and for hanging on.
    • For Rob, who offers everything and asks for very, very little in return. Except for a dowry, which you expect to be substantial, but that's between you and my Dad.
    • I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that I know I am Very Lucky, even if do I lose sight of that once in awhile...and all of this is not lost on me. I am thankful.

Oh, and thank Jeebus for Oprah, in case she reads this. What? It could happen. Could too.
